Smartfrog, a leading European technology company focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), has announced a partnership with mobilcom-debitel, a Freenet Group company. mobilcom-debitel, a Digital-Lifestyle-Provider, offers a suite of consumer based products and services with an increasing focus on the provision of internet based applications for private customers.
The partnership will see Smartfrog’s IoT-Surveillance Bundle become a core part of mobilcom- debitels Digital Lifestyle offering. Quick and easy to install, the mobilcom-debitel Smartfrog Surveillance Bundle enables its users to keep an eye on their home at any time and from anywhere via an app. The Surveillance Bundle includes the app, a camera and 24 hour video storage. mobilcom-debitel will offer the Bundle as a 24-month contract for 5,95€ per month through its 550+ retail stores.

The mobilcom-debitel Smartfrog Surveillance Bundle enables users to connect and control up to 10 cameras from a single account. Other features include an alarm function, notification system, two-way audio, night vision, 8x zoom and time-lapse video function, that enables users to view the whole day in 5 minutes and share with friends. All transferred data is SSL-encrypted, similar to online banking, and is stored in an ISO-certified high-security data centre in Germany. “This partnership will enable Smartfrog to extend its presence into retail outlets to a very large audience for the first time“, says Charles Fraenkl, CEO of Smartfrog.
